I. Chancellor Updates: We started this year focusing on student attendance at events and activities. So far, that is going well. Results from the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) revealed we ranked above the national average for student engagement. The Multi-Cultural Support Committee met recently and are proud to report out of 20 new hires, 4 of those are of diverse nature which meets our goal that was set at the beginning of the year. They have their own budget in which to use for diverse activities. Enrollment is down and we plan to ask for an increase in state funding. A recruiter from India recently visited our campus and we could potentially gain some students from India in the future semesters.
II. Approval of Minutes from August meeting: Motion made to accept by Dakota Bates and seconded by Alex Graham; All in favor.
III. Treasurer’s Report: Not given (OOPS, Mary forgot to ask for it!)
