Steve Wiegenstein’s short story collection, Scattered Lights, has been longlisted for the PEN/Faulkner Award.
Steve Wiegenstein’s short story “Magic Kids,” first published in Elder Mountain and now collected in Scattered Lights, received an honorable mention in the Mary Mackey Short Story Prize contest, sponsored by the National League of American Pen Women.
Jim Hamilton’s Ozarks RFD: Selected Essays won the 2020 Non-Fiction Book Award from the Ozarks Writers’ League. Seven of the essays in this collection appeared in Elder Mountain.
