Communication Equipment<\/strong> (Kept in the shelter storage room) Emergency Equipment First-Aid Supplies<\/strong> (Basic first aid kits are required and to be kept in the shelter storage room) Water<\/strong> Other Supplies<\/strong> (Optional \u2013 items determined necessary by the team.) The shelter is equipped with an emergency back-up, natural gas-powered generator to supply the shelter area with emergency electrical service. The University\u2019s superintendent of physical plant will be responsible for the routine maintenance and inspection of the generator. \nAdhesive tape and bandages in assorted sizes
\nScissors, tweezers and safety pins in assorted sizes
\nLatex gloves
\nAntiseptic solutions and antibiotic ointments<\/p>\n
\nWater will be available from drinking fountains within the shelter.<\/p>\n
\nToilet paper and paper towels
\nTowels and moistened towelettes
\nDisinfectants and chlorine bleach
\nTrash containers and liners
\nDisposable emergency blankets<\/p>\n
