Chancellor’s Update:
- In our seven county region the number of High school graduates going on to college has increased by 5.6% while the national average has decreased.
- Thanks to IT and Custodial for the hard work in moving into Looney Hall.
- Looney Hall has become the new Allied Health Building housing nursing and respiratory therapy. We increased our space by 4 classrooms and 2 labs, including a state of the art simulation lab. The lab needs its finishing touches and won’t be open until next month. We can now have 150 nursing students, if we have enough faculty.
- Respiratory therapy has applied for Accreditation.
- The upcoming State of the state address will announce the percent of funds cut out or our budget.
