- Chancellor Bennett is in Jeff City to attend the presentation of the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Education to Frank Priest
- April 13 Executive Budget Committee meeting 2pm in Lybyer 208
- April 13 Annual Auction. Reminder tickets are $15 for employees and their guests
- The schedule of Public Affairs Conference speaker presentations being brought to the West Plains campus through ITV is as follows:

Director of Human Resources (Tammy Few) via telecomm
- Tammy requested to participate in the meeting via telecomm to be of assistance in answering questions from the staff. Questions were asked regarding the following and Tammy will do some research and get back to us with her findings:
- WP staff has to take a day off (sick day) for a doctor’s appointment where as Springfield staff does not have to use a sick day
- Wellness programs for WP staff, similar to what is offered to Springfield staff
Academic Program Review (Amy Ackerson):
- Amy explained the process of program reviews and extended an invitation to all staff to attend the meetings. CGP & HIT programs will be reviewed Friday, April 6
President’s Administrative Council Report:
- Faculty Senate proposed for the 15 hour work load discussions be put on hold until after our new Chancellor has been hired and President Smart approved

- Christina Kerley announced some monies from faculty/staff picnic will be split between faculty and staff
Nominations for Staff Senate Board for 2018-2019:
- Bruce Cavitt will officially take over the role of President beginning May 3, 2018, along with the newly elected board: Standing ovation and thank you to Laurie for her service
- President Elect: CJ Collins, all approved
- Secretary: Kileene Collins, all approved
- Treasurer: Jared Cates, all approved

- Diversity activity: No activity presented
- Scholarship idea (Rachel Peterson): Rachel proposed the idea of staff paying $1 weekly to wear jeans to go along with Grizzly Gear Mondays and the money raised to be put towards a scholarship. All were in favor of the idea and she will initiate a committee meeting for further discussion
- IT: Banner upgrades will take place April 8 in the afternoon; Blackboard has been moved to the Cloud and Blackbelt training is scheduled for April 13
