Chancellor’s Update:
- Hass-Darr update; furniture and coffee shop coming soon
- Breakfast with Public School Superintendents this week in an effort to enhance our relationship with surrounding schools to increase enrollment

- We are focused on Academic Programs, Recruitment, and Retention
- Clif Smart is proposing a salary increase of 1% + $600 across the board, for full-time employees
- Medical Plan changes are coming
- General Counsel will now be visiting the West Plains campus every Tuesday and will be housed in Kellett Hall, third floor
- Budget update – expecting tuition increase of $5 to take effect fall 2019
- July 5 will be granted as an extra day off in

- On behalf of Mary Kellum, Bruce announced the Faculty Senate did approve the 15 credit hour proposal, during their closed session

- Flu Shots
- Flu shots will be given to Missouri State University-West Plains campus community members on the following dates. In order to ensure that there is enough vaccine available, appointments are recommended. Shots also will be provided at no cost to immediate family members (spouses, sponsored dependents and eligible dependents 12 years of age and older) of all faculty and staff. Shots are available to non-qualifying family members at a cost of $32.00 each.

- Grayson shared the This is My House activity from the University of Houston, Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services
Department/Committee Reports/Updates/Discussion:
- Business Office: (Christina Kerley)
- Meal Money form has been updated
- Student’s account balance must be below $100 for students to register
- Direct students who receive parking tickets to the online appeal form, as listed on the ticket; Do not send them to the Business Office to dispute the ticket
- The Business Office only accepts credit card payments, online
- Reminder Halloween candy cannot be purchased with departmental budgets
- Holds – A new procedure is being implemented, regarding SS#’s. When students fill out an Admission application, they must click No, if they choose not to provide their SS#, or click Yes and provide it; There will also be a Hold on their account if they have not completed the Title IX training but it will be lifted, once they complete it
- IT:
- Kris Brinkerhoff has been chosen to fill the Campus Web position, after Grayson’s retirement and his position as Software Support will be posted
- Programmer position update – reviewing apps
- Outreach:
- Doctoral Program Curriculum – 60 total credit hours and we can use our non-fee credit waiver
