Chancellor’s Update:
- The two grants submitted by Dennis Lancaster, (1) to expand GOCAT Technical Programs and (2) to grow the Nursing Program by increasing the number of available slots for students were not awarded to us but we are looking into alternative methods for funding these two programs
- Executive Budget Committee is meeting Dec 14
- Enrollment Management Committee welcomes any and all ideas to stabilize enrollment, as that is our main focus
- Tree Lighting ceremony was a success
- Still negotiating for a coffee shop and hoping to have one in by spring
- Respiratory Therapy pinning tonight at 6pm at the Civic Center
- Heather Kamps, Director of Development may reach out to you for your needs
- Questions asked and answered:
- Any ramifications from the gas tax not passing? We don’t know yet
- Do you have an update on the new minimum wage? All full-time employees will be increased to the new amount effective Jan 1; student workers will not be increased until July

Discussions:
- W-2 Annual Wage and Tax Statements: will be mailed by January 31 to addresses on file. Employees can consent to receive statements electronically by following the instructions at https://www.missouristate.edu/financialservices/electronic-w-2-election.htm. Registering for electronic filing must be completed by January 1 and remains in effect until an employee withdraws consent.

Diversity Activity:
- Mike Scheidt led the group in a very good activity showing how we as a group, may have different likes and interests, but we can all come together as a team to accomplish our goals

- Dec 10 Late Night Breakfast from 8-10pm at Putnam. If classes are cancelled due to weather, the breakfast will also be cancelled
- Advising:
- Encouraging departments to attend the faculty tutoring sessions at the Lofts because there are a lot of students that miss information and that would be a good time to connect with them to see if they are missing any steps they need in order to proceed with registration. Contact Jerry Trick to find out a good time for your department to attend

- Grizzmas Game Night: Faculty and staff are invited to join students for Grizzmas Game Night at 6 p.m. Dec. 11 in the Carol Silvey Student Union at Hass-Darr Hall. This is a great time to connect with students over free food and drinks, bingo and board games
