Chancellor’s Update:
- Enrollment is still trending upward
- Our #1 focus is retention
- We are anticipating a tuition increase
- KY3 did a wonderful report on the Police Substation that will be voted on by the BOG this month
- OMC is working to help expand our nursing program
- Heather Kamps, Director of Development will be visiting campus departments to seek what funding needs we have
- Small Farm Conference March 19-20 at the Civic Center
- Rural Teachers will be on campus in April
- Friends of the Garnett Library luncheon is March 8
- All are welcome to stop in Dr. Lawler’s office and meet her new assistant, Angela Matteson

- Honorary Degree Nominations: Nominations were submitted and voted on
- Administration Evaluation: Dr. Lawler has asked us to discuss completing an evaluation on her, similar to the one the faculty completes on their superiors. After discussions, a motion was made by CJ Collins and seconded by Anyta Cavitt, motion carried
- 2019-2020 Staff Senate Executive Board Nominations: To be voted on during the April meeting and new duties will begin in May
