Approval of Minutes:

Guest Updates:
- Leigh Adams, Faculty Senate Update:
- The Faculty Senate is raising concerns about the Emergency Alert System only being sent during the hours and time periods when classes are in session. A motion was made and seconded for the Staff Senate to support the Faculty Senate in their concerns to be brought to Admin Council; all in favor
- The Faculty Senate is proposing either a limited run of paper copies or a true PDF version of the catalog, due to issues/glitches in the online version
- Jeff Gettys, Springfield Staff Senate Update:
- The Springfield Staff Senate voted and approved a proposal to allow a West Plains Staff Senate representative on the Shared Leave Committee
- The Springfield Staff Senate invites the West Plains Staff Senate in a collaboration to address any issues or changes we feel need to be addressed
Chancellor’s Update:
- United Way campaign is underway; payroll deduct is available
- Red Carpet Days are underway; everyone is requested to positively engage with the students
- Fast Track program is available; information can be found on the Dept of Higher Education & Workforce Development website
- Finish Line program begins in January
- GO-CAT has over 400 high school students taking classes
- Missouri Economic Development group will be visiting with Regal Beloit, soon to be displaced workers, about opportunities to further their education and we plan to be involved
- The Grizzly volleyball team won the Region 16 Championship
- The Grizzly basketball season has begun. Next week there are four home games, Nov 18, 20, 22, and 23, at 7pm each day; if you don’t have a ticket and would like to join Dr. Lawler during a game, contact her
- Heather Kamps, Director of Development is leaving her position and the search for a replacement has begun
- Debbie Martin, Development Admin Asst is retiring Feb 1
President’s Report:

- November – no potluck as all are invited and encouraged to attend the Thanksgiving meal at Putnam on Nov 21 for $6.00 All-You-Can-Eat

- Spring BBQ cook-off, tentatively to be held at the amphitheater. Date to be discussed during our December meeting after CJ connects with Student Life to avoid scheduling conflicts
- Scholarship Fund to be discussed during December meeting so we can have someone from Development present to offer guidance

- Will be switching to a new E-Transcript software called Parchment and it will also allow for electronic diplomas
- Working on a Curriculum Workflow project
