Some members of Admin. Council were also present to answer any potential questions: Brenda Polyard, Angie Totty, Cheryl Caldwell, and Michael Orf. Also guest, Paula Wilhelm from Springfield HR was present. Note: Due to the meeting being held via Zoom, there may have been others present but not listed above.
Approval of Minutes:

Chancellor’s Report:
- COVID-19 Updates:
- If you did not listen to the town hall this morning, with Clif Smart, it was recorded and it is recommended everyone watch it.
- Return to Campus document – suggested everyone read it.
- Masking Policy – To be released soon but masks will be worn inside academic buildings and classrooms inside non-academic buildings. Each dept. will be able to make their own decisions on whether or not masks will be required inside their offices, but if someone comes in with a mask on, you should put one as well, out of respect.
- Budget – $660,000 + additional $108,000 withholds which will mostly come out of positions that are vacant and frozen from re-hiring; No salary reductions or furloughs at this time but enrollment could have an impact on that decision later in the year.

- Discussions still going on. 114 West Plains students planning to walk & 20-30 Outreach students – will have an update next week.
- Enrollment:
- If enrollment is flat or up, in terms of budget, we should be okay. We all need to do our part to increase enrollment.
- Questions:
- Convocation? Still scheduled at the amphitheater, as planned, but subject to change Dr. Totty shared the student groups are using the Risk Ruberick for all events being planned.

- Brenda Smith, Faculty Senate Chair: First meeting in September; doing their part to increase enrollment.
- Paula Wilhelm, Asst. Dir. of Human Resources-Performance Management: Supervisor Training on September 23rd through Zoom for WP Supervisors. Please reserve one of the two times offered: 9:30 am – 11:30 am or 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Register on My Learning Connection. Goal Development & ADP review.

- Agreement with Burton Creek to perform testing for athletes and any staff or faculty (covered by insurance) Contact your Supervisor if you need to be tested.
- If you need office supplies, Office Depot is often times cheaper than Amazon. Contact Alyssa Collins for more information.
- Check with the bookstore also, to compare prices.
- COVID safety videos being developed for employees, supervisors, and students

- Diversity 101 training via Zoom on July 22 from 1:00-4:45; register through My Learning Connection

- Part-Time Representative Discussion:
- No nominations received. We will re-evaluate in August
- Faculty Senate Representative Discussion:
- Nominations accepted until our August meeting; Douglas Cooley has expressed interest as a candidate. We will vote in August
- Staff Ambassador Program:
- Jared Cates, CJ Collins, Krista Lair, and Alyssa Collins have been charged with developing the program. If anyone else is interested in being on the committee, please contact Jared. He does plan to have a zoom meeting in the next week or so to share some ideas and he invites all to attend if interested or has ideas for the group.
- Admin Council Retreat:
- Jared will be attending the Admin Council retreat on July 16. If anyone has questions they would like him to ask, on behalf of the staff, please email him prior to the meeting.
