Deanna Bell, Michelle Bryan, Kadem Tharp, Jennifer Walker, Sue Icenhower, Brittney Adkisson, Julie Dulaney, Kelley Towell, Donna Monticelli, Sophia Skinner, Melissa Jett, Nina Williams, Rebeka McKinney, Tara Shahan, Douglas Cooley, Lindsey Hicks, Tanya Miller, Cindy Williams, Christina Kerley, Mark White, Kristi Huff, Pam Tate, Carrie Steen, and Vickie Petkovic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Approval of Agenda<\/strong> &#8211; Motion to approve agenda and seconded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Approval of July Meeting Minutes &#8211; <\/strong>Motion to approve and seconded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chancellor\u2019s Report<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enrollment as of Monday, Aug. 12:\n<ul>\n<li>10% increase in new students<\/li>\n<li>Flat in Continuing students<\/li>\n<li>6% increase in total credit hours<\/li>\n<li>6% decrease in online credit hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Any questions or concerns regarding HLC, send them to Dr. Orf, Dr. Totty, Leigh Adams, or Dr. Lancaster. A consultant will be hired as we navigate through this process.<\/li>\n<li>This year\u2019s strategy \u2013 enrollment and retention.<\/li>\n<li>We will be taking a deep dive into our departmental budgets.<\/li>\n<li>New Legislatures\/Representatives \u2013 not expecting new money.<\/li>\n<li>Pres. \u201cBiff\u201d Williams will be on campus Sept 19 at the Rec Center for a meet and greet \u2013 open to the public. You need to register \u2013 reach out to Trish or Katie Dudden if needed. The foundation board will be attending \u2013 their first time on our campus. All in favor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer opportunities for move-in days and Welcome Week:\n<ul>\n<li>Friday, August 16, and Saturday, August 17, are move-in days. Residence Life is looking for volunteers. Information from Trace Winfrey, Coordinator of Residence Life:\n<ul>\n<li>Move-in day is one of the most important days in Residence Life. It is a special and unique time for Residence Life staff members to showcase a student-centered approach that students come first. For volunteer events occurring outside the regular work schedule, nonexempt employees should ask their supervisor for their permission to participate and whether the supervisor will adjust their work schedule in the same work week to accommodate their participation outside of their normal work schedule and keep their work hours at 40 for the week or pay overtime for the additional hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Monday, August 19, is the first day of class and is the kick-off to Welcome Week events. Volunteers are still needed.
