Chancellor’s Update:

Dr. Bennett gave an overview of all the various activities in which faculty and staff participated in just one week. These activities occurred primarily during the evening and/or weekend. A total of about 1800 non-students were involved in some type of campus event through these activities.
The chancellor encouraged staff to participate in the Public Affairs Conference this week. Specific sessions are available via ITV.
Gave an update on results of SGA elections. The Student Activity Fee increase was passed. The fee will increase from $17 to $20. These additional funds will allow students to participate in additional activities.
No official update is available on state budget appropriations yet.

Construction/Demolition Updates:
- All demolitions are complete.
- Gohn is now occupied.
- An appraisal has been done on Cass Hall in anticipation of some type of lease/purchase/possible donation agreement being reached when current lease expires.

Renee Moore Presentation:
- Dr. Moore discuss students attending “Child Advocacy Day” at the state capital.
- Dr. Moore explained the Poverty Simulation taking place that evening, Friday, April 12th.
- Dr. Moore explained her transition to working full-time from her home for medical accommodation reasons.
