Chancellor’s Update:
- Dr. Bennett was out of town and did not give an update
- Grayson reported that the Missouri Legislature will be in session one more week and they have tentatively given more funds to higher education and specifically more funds for Allied Health programs. However, funding for Hass Hoover Hall does not look promising for this year.

Treasurer report:
- Current balance is $157.
New Business:
- Dr. Dyer has submitted his resignation. His last day will be May 17. Dennis Lancaster will become the interim dean.
- Emily Gibson was introduced as new staff member
- Grayson talked about the Chancellor’s volunteer initiative in which he would like to log 50,000 hours of community service by MSU-WP staff, faculty, students, alumni, donors, friends, etc. as a tribute to our 50th Anniversary. There needs to be some publicity and a way to record the hours and organization.
- The ITV equipment is being transferred to Gohn Hall starting on May 20th. The User Support staff will be handling this move and may be unable to respond to calls as quickly as they normally do.
- We discussed a requested from the library staff to move the Staff Senate meeting from the 2nd Friday in the month to the 3rd Friday so that it will not overlap with the Friends of the Garnett Library luncheons.
- Staff should be sure to use all their vacation days before the roll over date.
Important Dates/Reminders:
- Alumni Banquet held May 2nd – approx. 300 in attendance
- Annual Fund Social held May 9
- Commencement will be May 18 at 10:00 am – there are approx. 245 candidates for graduation.
