Chancellor’s Report:
- Still planning on Aug. graduation
- Summer semester – down 5% & fall is trending downward but there have been no STAR’s yet. Planned changes for fall class formats and then in spring there will be two 8-week sessions opposed to a 16-week session
- Keep your home work space prepared just in case we need to revert back to working remotely
- Budget cuts for FY21 and we are trying to reserve at every level
- Dr. Lawler announced she is leaving her position at the end of June due to health issues

- Social Media guidelines should be reviewed if you are in charge of university group pages to remain compliant

- 2020-2021 Grizzly Gear Policy – Approved by the Administrative Council on June 9, 2020
- With supervisor approval, staff may wear casual pants (e.g. khakis, Dockers) or jeans (no holes, rips or frayed hems) with Grizzly apparel on selected days while maintaining a professional appearance. When these days include meetings and/or events that suggest professional attire, please dress accordingly. Your departmental dean or director may provide more direction on when jeans would be suitable for your office or department.
- Due to the reduced number of visitors on campus due to COVID-19, staff may wear jeans with Grizzly apparel every day of the 2020 summer session ending July 31, while adhering to the policy as set forth above. Exceptions are STAR dates in July (July 8, 10, 15, 17, 21, 23, 31) and when meetings or events on campus suggest professional attire.
- Grizzly Gear Monday – Every Monday of the 2020-2021 academic year. Faculty and staff are encouraged to share #GrizzlyGearMonday photos on social media or upload photos to the GrizzlyGear Monday website at https://news.wp.missouristate.edu/grizzly-gear/.

- During the Sept 4 meeting, they plan to vote on their handbook and committee assignments

- More Diversity 101 training sessions coming soon. E-Learning opportunities – Professional Development (on demand sessions – several resources available until June 15) “Online Class” through My Learning Connection. USA & MSU Lead will resume at a later date
- Springfield’s Staff Senate – Jeff Gettys:
- Springfield Staff Senate meeting was June 4. Ryan Reed will be taking over June 26 as President. Work group was created with a staff senate representative for furlough discussions

- Move-in dates will be Aug 13-16 to allow for social distancing and reducing the number of people at one time
- Athletics- (Kileene Collins):
- Grizzly Booster Club membership drive has begun. We offer a discounted level to all staff and faculty in the amount of $250 for however many tickets needed for your immediate family and payroll deduct is an option with monthly payments. Contact Kileene if you would like to join
- IT – (Mike Scheidt & CJ):
- EMS Room Management software is live. Angela Marcak in Records and Registration will be approving all room reservations. Contact Mike if you need online access. He will need your Bear Pass login ID
