- The GAP “Grizzly Give Back Day” is this Friday. The team will be helping with the Musical Salute to Veterans at the WP Civic Center
- United Way Campaign: Join us today in supporting Heart of the Ozarks United Way. Our campus goal this year is $6,250. Make your donation by completing the pledge card and sending it to Alyssa Collins in Kellett Hall by the Dec 15 deadline. A lunch and learn will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 11:30-12:30 in Lybyer 205. Join us for presentations by Stacy Tintocalis, executive director, and United Way partner agencies. Free pizza will be served! Please RSVP by Friday, Nov. 11.
- Take Action – Open Enrollment: Missouri State University’s open enrollment for the 2023 benefits year will run from Nov. 1, 2022 through Dec. 1, 2022. Open enrollment is the annual period during which you can elect/decline/or make changes to your medical, dental, vision, and cafeteria/flexible spending plans for the upcoming calendar year. Visit the HR Blog for additional information on new identity protection insurance, a guaranteed issue for Short Term Disability benefits, reduced rates for vision coverage, and wellness incentives during open enrollment. Even if you don’t have changes, you should complete open enrollment to review your plan(s) for accuracy, verify that your personal information is up to date, and make sure you have beneficiaries updated.
- Virtual Employee Benefits Fair: We are pleased to announce that we are hosting a virtual benefit fair. The virtual Benefit fair is interactive. Attendees will find out more information about benefits by visiting virtual tables and be entered for prizes. Participants can invite a guest to attend. The virtual fair will run con-current with open enrollment and be available for viewing from Nov. 1 through Dec. 1, 2022.
