  • Bryan will investigate if the faculty senate president receives a stipend or compensation and will present a similar proposal to Admin Council. Motion made and seconded, motion carried.

    • Our GAP team building session is this Friday. The group will also attend the Friends of the Garnett Library lunch meeting.
    • The Employee Appreciation Luncheon has been rescheduled for March 17 at noon.
  • Workforce Development (Sheila Barton)
    • Data Analytics Workshop – February 21 & 22 from 1-5pm in Lybyer 216
      • This workshop does qualify as professional development and all full-time regular employees have this benefit to utilize up to $150 per fiscal year for enrollment in noncredit courses offered by MSU for the purpose of professional and personal development, under the noncredit course fee waiver benefits.
    • Painting Workshop – February 25 (Annabel Spring Highland Cow)
  • University Advancement (Rachel Peterson)
    • Giving Day – Two-day event – March 1 & 2. If we receive 50 donations that day, a donor will give $10,000 to our emergency fund. Three ways to give and be involved:
      • Ambassador – Give (any amount) and get 2 others to give – will get swag and tool kit to help share – Rachel can help and provide information.
      • Advocate – Share on social media and help spread the word.
      • Giver – Give any amount.

      • Will there be a list of areas we can give to?
        • Rachel and Alex Cochran will have a list and can help ensure the funds go where you want.
