- Looking for a department that would like to host the October event. Please notify Trish if interested.
- Volunteer opportunities:
- Birthday Blessings update: a group of 4 volunteered and it was wonderful and look forward to going back in the future.
- Looking into United Way and Red Cross opportunities.
- Welcome gifts for new employees
- Update from Trevor Cressman – Grizzly resin statue (standing) cost is $10ea – can be scaled down to (walking) for $5ea. Trevor will work on one with a base that will allow space for MSU-WP Staff Senate or something similar and will report back during next month’s meeting.
- Please note that while it’s everyone’s desire to welcome a new staff member with a gift, we will not be able to provide much for a long period of time if we do not make some fundraising ideas a reality. Christina Kerley will check on this and let Trich know if it would be acceptable. If approved, the contribution jar will be in Kileene’s office in Student Services.
- The next Administrative Council meeting is Wednesday, October 16. They did not meet this week. Please let me know if you have any questions or issues to bring before the Council. For the Oct meeting, I will not be able to attend, so please send items to Trevor Cressman, as he will be attending on my behalf. My extension is 57900, and my email address is WPStaffSenate@MissouriState.edu. My office door is always open (Kellett Hall, #203).
