In Attendance: Attendance was not taken. An attempt to gather names of attendees will be made during the July meeting.

Approval of Agenda – Motion to approve and seconded.

Approval of May Meeting Minutes – Motion to approve and seconded.

Chancellor’s Report

  • Chancellor Lancaster was not present, but he wished everyone the best.
  • Zora Mulligan will be starting soon and will be coming around during July/August.

President’s Report (Trevor Cressman)

  • Chancellor Lancaster will become Staff Emeritus following his retirement.
  • That Friday Thing – The next event will be held at the old GoCat building. Date: TBD
  • Name for the old GoCat Building – Trevor will look into the process for a new name.
  • Staff Senate Social Gatherings – Springfield Staff Senate get together monthly. Brings us together and have an opportunity to interact with those we don’t see very often. Is that something our West Plains Staff Senate would like to do maybe 2-3 times a year?
    • We could do this on a smaller scale for fundraising events.
    • Casino Night was mentioned.

President Elect Report (Position Unfilled)

  • If anyone is interested in filling the position of President Elect, please contact Trevor Cressman

Secretary Report (Kileene Collins) – not present, no report.

Treasurer Report (Alexandra Graham) –Alex was not present but did share we have $2,116.58 in our account. $250 has been added from cookbook sales.

    • Human Resources (Alyssa Collins)
      • Alyssa was not present but did share the Employee Appreciation Week activities for June 16-20.
      • The Mammogram bus still has appointments available for June 25 at no cost to female employees over 40 with the MSU health plan.
    • Assessment and Accreditation (Alexandra Graham)
      • Alex was not present but would like to meet with Assessment Committee members soon.
  • Upcoming Events & Important Dates:
    • June 23-27 – 70 middle school students will be on campus for Summer Scholars.
    • June 24/26 – Carla Huddleston has coordinated planned events with South Howell County Ambulance and the Howell County Dispatch, so don’t be alarmed if you hear sirens or see flashing lights on campus on those days.
