Staff Senate Mission Statement:

  • The Staff Senate serves as a liaison to administration as an advocate for staff welfare and productivity, in conjunction with the University’s mission to support, improve, innovate, and promote academic excellence.

  • Performance Review Training:
    • A new online system for the Appraisal and Planning (ADP) process launched September 2. The performance review system is accessed via the Performance Tab in My Learning Connection. Virtual HR Live training sessions for both supervisors and employees will be offered throughout September. To register, visit My Learning Connection and search for “ADP” or “supervisor.” Visit the updated HR–Employee Relations webpage for more information about the release and updates.
  • Save the Dates:
    • Flu and biometrics clinics are scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, and Thursday, October 30. Appointment details are forthcoming.
      The annual Employee Benefits Fair will be Thursday, October 30 from 9:00-Noon in the Student Recreation Center.
    • Benefits Open Enrollment will be November 1-December 1.
  • Upcoming Events & Important Dates:
    • Free Portrait Photos for Faculty, Staff, Administrators
      • Taking a headshot photo allows individuals to put a name with your face.
        If you do not have a photo or would like to have a new photo, sign up and come on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
        Photos will be taken between 3 and 5 p.m.
