Chancellor’s Report

Dr. Lancaster is at the May Board of Governors meeting. No update, but he did ask Trish to remind everyone of the Town Hall on Friday, May 10. Offices are to remain open, but all are asked to attend that are able to.

The next Administrative Council meeting is Tuesday, May 14. Please let me know if you have any questions or issues you want to bring before the council. My extension is 57900, and my email address is WPStaffSenate@MissouriState.edu. My office door is always open (Kellett Hall, #203). Note: There will be no admin council meeting on May 21.

Committee Reports
- That Friday Thing (Rachel Peterson for Administrative Council)
  - Hotdogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, chips, and water will be served. 11:00 a.m. at the Commons.
- Summer Scholars (Trevor Cressman)
  - June 24-28 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed for various activities throughout the days. Please contact Trevor if you would like to help.

- Human Resources (Alyssa Collins)
  - GAP Graduation: We will recognize our graduating 2023-2024 cohort during That Friday Thing!
  - Credit Course Fee Waiver Deadline: The deadline for submitting a credit course fee waiver for spring 2024 is Friday, May 10.
  - Don’t Lose Vacation Time: As we head into summer and our fiscal year ends, we remind you to check your current vacation leave balance. Refer to the HR Blog for instructions.
  - Mammogram Bus Appointments: Limited appointments are still available for the OZH Mobile Mammography Unit on Tuesday, June 4^th. The bus will be parked in the north Lybyer parking lot (off Cass Avenue) from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 417-257-5912 to schedule an appointment. With the MSU health plan, preventive screening is available at no cost to female employees over 40.

  - What Rock Buildings Say about the People of the Ozarks – Tuesday, May 14, at 6:00 p.m. in the Ozarks Heritage Research Center. Free and open to the public.
