Staff Senate Mission Statement:

The Staff Senate serves as a liaison to administration as an advocate for staff welfare and productivity, in conjunction with the University’s mission, to support, improve, innovate and promote academic excellence.

      • Our GAP team building session is this Friday. The group will also attend the Friends of the Garnett Library lunch meeting.
      • The Employee Appreciation Luncheon will be rescheduled. The date is TBD.
    • Workforce Development (Sheila Brotherton)
      • Reminder of the upcoming Data Analytics workshop on February 21 and 22 from 1-5 pm. in Lybyer 216
        1. This workshop does qualify as professional development and all full-time regular employees have this benefit to utilize up to $150 per fiscal year for enrollment in noncredit courses offered by Missouri State University for the purpose of professional and personal development, under the noncredit course fee waiver benefit.
      • Also, our next painting workshop is Feb. 25 and I have attached a flyer.
