One and a Half Down.

2014 March 5 by Benjamin Gilpin

Well when we first arrived in Beijing it was kind of a big scary thing because it was huge, way bigger than i have ever seen, that is. It was also pretty smoggy, which was interesting coming from a country town and not really seeing a lot of smog before. Though it was a very awesome experience because just to be able to see the culture that there was and the history through all the places that we saw from something simple as the forbidden city to that of the Great Wall of China. Well, anyway, with our tour guide it was a very memorable experience. After getting through the first parts of it, it seemed kinda scary but really it was really interesting.  When we got to Dalian we got to our apartments and they were pretty cool we were shown where to go get food at the market and where the school was which was good. The food is different but so far its all been pretty good. We have ridden on the buses, taken a taxi, and rode on a train. All in all the week has been pretty long and good and we start school tomorrow.
