One Week Down

2014 March 5 by Collin Hadley

I haven’t had a chance to make a post yet since we’ve been super busy in China! The tour of Beijing was great, got to see the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and many other famous Chinese landmarks. The history here is interesting and incredibly vast. We’ve been in Dalian for a few days now and I’ve taken the time to explore and adjust to this “small” Chinese city. It’s probably about the size of Chicago but unremarkable by Chinese standards. Found the beach, climbed some mountains, got used to the bus and train systems, shopped in some food markets summarizes some of the things I’ve been up to since we’ve been here. Classes start tomorrow! That’s about it for the first two weeks or so!
