The Staff Senate serves as a liaison to administration as an advocate for staff welfare and productivity, in conjunction with the University’s mission, to support, improve, innovate and promote academic excellence.

Employee Benefits Fair: All full-time and part-time employees are invited to Missouri State University’s Benefits Fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, in the Student Recreation Center. See the attachment for more details.
Save up to $360 on your annual health insurance premiums!: To prevent/reduce the impact of COVID-19 on our workforce, the 2022 wellness incentive includes the following vaccination combination:
- COVID-19 vaccine shot (must complete vaccine regimen based on the type of vaccine administered, single or double dose): qualifies for $20 per month discount.
- Flu vaccine shot: qualifies for $10 per month discount. Credit runs from Sept. 1, 2021 through Dec. 1, 2021.
- Both vaccinations must be administered prior to December 1, 2021 to qualify for the maximum $30 per month health insurance premium discount.
Flu vaccinations through Magers Health and Wellness will be available to faculty, staff, immediate family (spouses, sponsored dependents, and eligible dependents 6 years of age and older) and students. Free biometric screenings for employees are also available but are not included in the annual wellness incentive. Appointments are required. Please schedule online through the MyHealth Portal.
