Staff Senate Mission Statement:

The Staff Senate serves as a liaison to administration as an advocate for staff welfare and productivity, in conjunction with the University’s mission, to support, improve, innovate and promote academic excellence.

    • Salary increase, 4%, effective July 1. Only applies to faculty/staff hired before April 1.

      • Alyssa is the GAP Coordinator. Applications for the 2022-2023 cohort are due August 1.
      • Bryan is now managing the campus copiers.
      • Kelly Becker has volunteered to be the WP Staff Senate rep on the Shared Leave Committee. She has been appointed a two-year term. Alyssa still serves as an HR member.
    • GOCAT (Sheila)
      • Sheila is putting together lunch and learn topics and short-term workforce training. Please get with her if you are interested in learning about a particular topic or are experienced in a particular area and would like to present to others.
