Fridays to wear grizzly shirts and blue jeans. Discussion based upon if we make it every Friday or just on Game days. It was proposed that we have it on every Friday.
It was mentioned that we would be mimicking Springfield’s same tradition. May need to see exactly what they do to make sure we are telling the Chancellor the correct information.
Discussed the welcome week luncheon and how we again had more food than was needed. Next year we will need to scale back the amount we provide.
Discussed the firearms policy. Grayson Gordon asked what were the consequences and Cheryl Caldwell mentioned that she believes there is information someplace, but she is not sure where, which states the consequences concerning breaking the rules for example the alcohol policy.

Discussion about how to use the money which was left over from an employee’s memorial fund. Idea of a memorial book fund, scholarship.
This has been tabled and given to the special events committee to decide further what to do with the funds.
Lee Denim Day Oct. 3rd for $5 we can wear jeans.
Discussion about the Chili Cook-off. Bill will be in charge of the Chili Cook-off will be Oct. 3rd. It will also be our potluck for the month.
Discussion about how to better handle the “Friday” thing. By dept. seems to work better. Location was discussed in how to better include everyone.
